Why do you have a problem with vaccination, why are you so against protecting your child from untimely death.
Let me give you a rundown of some VACCINE PREVENTABLE DISEASE, maybe I can change your mind.
1. Hemophilus Influenza Type B
A bacterial disease that infects the lungs, brain, spinal cord, bones or joint.
Transmission is airborne.
2.Mumps
A viral disease causing swollen salivary glands, fever and muscle aches.
Transmission is airborne
3. Hepatitis B
A viral disease causing chronic liver disease, liver failure, liver cancer.
Transmission is via blood and bodily fluids and mother to child transmission.
4. Meningococcal Disease
A bacterial organism that causes infection of the brain and spinal cord
Transmission is through kissing and living with and infected individual
5. Tetanus
A bacterial disease resulting in lockjaw, breathing problems, paralysis and death.
Transmission is via contact of the bacteria with an open wound.
6. Pneumococcal disease
A bacteria disease which can cause respiratory, blood or brain infection
Transmission is via contact with an infected persons mucus or saliva.
7. Polio
A viral disease that affects the muscles
Transmission is through contact with an infected person faeces.
8. Pertusis
An infection of the lung causing whooping cough
Transmission is airborne
9. Measles
Highly contagious viral infection that involves the respiratory system. Symptoms include cough, runny nose, red eyes, skin rashes.
Transmission is airborne
10. Yellow fever
Acute viral hemorrhagic fever. A proportion of patients who contract this virus develop severe symptoms (high fever, jaundice, dark urine, abdominal pain) and approximately half of them die within 7-10 days.
Transmission is via infected mosquito bite.
