Organizers for the African Economic Mission, the Cameroon Development Committee (CODECAM), have decided to widen the Cameroonian panel by increasing their number from 50 to 500 more than 200.

They have also united with Cameroon’s Employers Business Group (ECAM) to select Cameroon’s best ambassadors for this economic mission since more than 100 Cameroonians have already taken part in this event.

Members of the Economic Community of Central African States (ECCAS) will assemble in Brussels, Belgium for an African economic mission to create measures of facilitating trade among them from 17th to 21st September, 2019.

As the fifth edition of this economic mission, objectives will centre on Central African economic operators to market their products to the world and to bring in business partners. Therefore, this economic mission will be an exchange moment for all its participants as business leaders from all parts of the world will be present. With the support of the Ministry of Small and Medium size Enterprises (SMEs) in Cameroon was this economic mission organized by the CODECAM.

According to Victor Kakmeni, the promoter of CODECAM, this meeting will be a central point for entrepreneurs and business men to market their ideas and products. “We plan to ease business opportunities by promoting the exchange of technologies through this initiative and to facilitate the sponsorship of projects in Africa and Cameroon”, he said.

In addition, the planners of this mission have asked for all the sectors of companies involved to be present at the gathering, especially the bosses. “We are expecting the presence of bosses from different companies and their various sectors of activity, we want each and evetyone to participate in this event,” Victor Kakmeni stated.

The businessmen to attend the forthcoming economic mission in Belgium will participate in the 2nd edition of the international conference in N’Djamena, Tchad for the promotion of SMEs and investments in ECCAS from 5th to 6th October. They will also take part in the 1st National Conference for Young Entrepreneurship in Cameroon from 29th to 31st July, 2019.
