…That poem shall mock and praise

He shall laugh and cry

I mean that poem shall lush them.

Lucky them I’m not a poet

If I were a poet

My poem shall slap the hollow pre-poll promises

He shall mention the empty pre-vote pledges

‘Of course you may have heard these campaign promises before…because I practice campaign promise recycling!’

AAA aaaa aaaa!

I want to be a poet

Give me the calabash.

Mawu sogbolisa,

Kyediampong Kwame,

Asase Yaa,

Ataala Nyogmo,

Give me the tongue; the cane

To name the Snowballs of Ghana.

Bad is good under them but good is bad under others

The evil devil hypocrite of the land

Suffering from the diarrhoea of corruption….
