The Ghana Union Movement Party (GUM ) Chairman at Kintampo North in the Brong East Region, Mr Fatau Mamud, has described the ruling government led by the New Patriotic Party (NPP), and the outgone National Democratic Congress (NDC) party as corrupt incompetent, uncaring, greedy and hypocritical government that must be voted out of power in the upcoming 2020 elections.

He said for the past three years, the youth had been forced to do three years of wait-and-see and they are now suffering with no jobs and that while the people suffer, those in power are suddenly becoming rich with big cars and putting up mansions.

He said the government had only 10 months left in 2020 yet the “Action Year” declared by the President had not been fulfilled.

He said the only action people could see were the springing up of big houses being built by government appointees.

The GUM Chairman alleged that, these houses are being built with the 10 billion-dollar loan approved by Parliament, adding that if the 10 billion dollars were shared equally among Ghanaians, each region would have one billion dollars and each district would receive 60 million dollars.

He stated that the NPP government had woefully failed to make use of its previous experience in governance to accelerate the development of Ghana not even after inheriting a vastly expanded economy from the NDC.

He appealed to Ghanaians to substitute the current administration and replace it with Gum which has good vision for the country with, industrial works, education being the top priority.

Borrowing words from (GUM) flagbearer, Rev. Christian Andrew, he said “it is not natural resources that build nations but people and that it is the people of Ghana that the NPP intend to use in building the country.
