Not too long ago, a research on corruption was conducted on some state institutions in my dear motherland (GHANA).
Judges were rated the 2nd most corrupt on the list. (It may be true… It may also be false.)
NOW THERE’S A GOLDEN OPPORTUNITY FOR OUR DEAR JUDGES TO PROVE THAT SURVEY WRONG OR RIGHT!!!
The attitude of the Jean Mensah and Bossman Asare led Electoral Commission (EC) and its possible repercussions is clear to everyone in this country.
Fortunately for us as a nation that believes in the Constitution and the court, the case is currently tabled before the supreme Court of Ghana.
GOOD START BY OUR JUDGES
I must commend the Supreme Court Judges for the professionalism they displayed by requesting the EC to present a tangible reason for rejecting the voters’ identity card as part of their requirements for the new register. which is itself questionable in the first place…
GHANAIANS ARE FOLLOWING AND COUNTING ON YOU FOR A FAIR JUDGMENT…
As they (EC) shall be meeting you at the supreme Court next week hopefully, Ghanaians and also the international communities are keenly following this case and are watching your conduct through your judgement; perhaps this will form the basis of our perception about you (JUDGES).
I therefore challenge you to remain as independent as possible. Stand your grounds and do the right thing.
We (Ghanaians) know for sure that there may be a lot of pressure mounted on you by this current government that is doing everything possible to rig the upcoming December 7th election and as such using all institutions that matter in its quest to achieve its wicked agenda.
Already the Ghana Police, beyond all reasonable doubts has shown their bias nature in favour of this current NANA ADDO led government.
The EC which is currently before you is in no way different from the Ghana Police so far as rigging the December 7th elections for NANA ADDO and the NPP is concern. In fact, it (EC) is the key tool for achieving this evil agenda by the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP).
YOU ARE OUR LAST AND ONLY HOPE
We the good people of Ghana will like to encourage you to stand your grounds and pass a honest judgement that will bring total peace to Ghana and as well redeem your image as Judges… We the good people of Ghana want to believe that you will restore hope in us so that we can always run to you for refuge whenever we feel insecure, intimidated or cheated in anyway by anyone…
NANA BAAH CONSTITUTION.
