Sun Yat-Sen University Alumni Association of China has urged the public to strictly adhere to World Health Organizations’ safety protocols to compliment government’s efforts to contain, combat and prevent the spread of Coronavirus pandemic.
The Kotoka International Airport (KIA) has started receiving its first set of arrivals into Ghana on Tuesday, September 1, 2020 after President Akufo-Addo lifted the embargo on foreign travels through KIA. The airport was closed to human traffic for six months to stop COVID-19 imports.
According to the Chinese Medical Team Leader, Dr. Yongyong Shi, total compliance with the protocols coupled with other robust measures by government can only propel the mission and vision to tackle head-on the infectious coronavirus crisis.
Speaking at the donation of Personal Protective Equipment (PPES) to LEKMA Hospital ceremony in Accra, Dr. Yongyong Shi expressed confidence that Ghana will win its avowed battle against the infectious coronavirus pandemic.
